Each year in November HQ SACT Officers’ Mess supports SOPC in collection of food for the FoodBank of Southeastern Virginia and the Eastern Shore. We invite you to support the good cause!
Please bring your food donations to the designated place (marked with a poster) on 2-9 November at the Officers’ Mess Lounge.
What to give?
CANNED PROTEIN: peanut butter, tuna, chicken, turkey, beans, etc.
FRUITS & VEGETABLE: canned fruits & vegetable, pasta sauce, 100% fruit juice, dried fruit, etc.
WHOLE GRAINS: cereal, pasta, oatmeal, rice, crackers, etc.
BOXED MEALS: soups, stews, pasta, etc.
LOW FAT – LOW SODIUM – LOW SUGAR PRODUCTS PREFERRED
Please remember: non-perishable food, non-breakable containers, nutritional labels intact, check best by / Sell by / Use by date.
